The HOU ISE Tour of the Universe has been developed for use by Informal Science Centers such as museums, science centers, planetaria, and community centers. The activities generally take between a half hour and one hour each and are geared toward after school workshops and summer camps for ages ranging from 8 through adult.
The ISE Tour of the Universe has activities on six topics:
You can access any of these topics by clicking on the button from the ISE Activity Menu Page (Tour of the Universe).
Under each topic there are several sections:
- HOU Crafts and Projects - These are activities that use pictures and other materials and can be done without a computer.
- HOU Online Activities - These activities are interactive using the computer and the Internet, but do not need the HOU Image Processing software.
- HOU Image Processing Software - These are activities that require HOU-IP Image Processing software and HOU Images.
- Educator's Storeroom - This area contains materials that a workshop leader may wish to download in advance in preparation of an HOU workshop using the activities in this topic.
